ASC Orange County

Behavior Therapist (Part-Time):

We are considering candidates with an educational background or focus in Education, Psychology, Sociology or related field and preferably experienced in Applied Behavior Analysis Techniques and/or School Shadowing. Paid training is provided by ASC. Training includes: School Shadowing, Home Therapy Techniques and Social Skills Groups.

The Behavior Therapist will be part of a team that utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis and other Behavior Modification techniques and strategies. These strategies help children with Autistic Disorder to learn in the following areas:

• Motor Skills
• Behavior
• Self Help
• Play Skills
• Language Skills
• Generalization
• Academics
• Social Skills
• Theory of Mind (perspective taking)

The Behavior Therapist will be responsible for:

• School shadowing
• One-to-One direct home therapy
• Attending regularly scheduled clinical team meetings

ASC San Diego

Senior Behavior Therapist:

The Behavior Therapist will be part of a team that utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis and other Behavior Modification techniques and strategies. These strategies help children with Autistic Disorder to learn in the following areas:

• School shadowing
• One-to-One direct home therapy
• Data analysis and synthesis
• Attending regularly scheduled clinical team meetings

To qualify for this position, candidates should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology or related field and and with at least five years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis Techniques and/or School Shadowing
  OR
• Master's Degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology or related field
  OR
• BCBA
